Cancelling Purchase Orders

We are having a problem where Purchase Orders are being cancelled but the PO Header and associated PO Lines are being left with an Open status thus generating monthly accruals.

Is there a setting or patch available that automatically changes the status of the PO Header and PO Lines to a "Closed" status if the PO is cancelled?
