Error while creating bank account 'Please deselect the Multiple Currency option as it is not allowed

Hi
I have created a new bank and was in process of creating the bank account. However, I am not able to select 'Multiple Currencies Allowed'. I get the error 'Please deselect the Multiple Currency option as it is not allowed because the Bank Account currency is not equal to the Ledger currency.'

My Ledger Currency is USD and the bank account currency is also USD. I believe I should not get the error.

Can anyone suggest where i went wrong?
