Way to schedule a recurring export from CRM On Demand

Is there a mechanism within CRM On Demand to schedule a daily extract of information from CRM?  The information to export would be specific such as a list of opportunities or tasks.  Also, if such a feature exists, would it simply dump it on the export location we use through the online export or can it be emailed?  I realize I can write a web service to do it, but wondered if there wasn't a built-in mechanism.
