SIgnificent increase in processing time for posting A/P A/R G/L batches in A9.3 over A7.3

Has anyone noticed it taking much longer for batch processing in A9.3 than it does in A7.3?I looked at the job when it was running and it seems to be doing a lot more I/O in file F0901LA.
