Sales Order Customer Template

 Does anyone know if there is a preference for customer templates?  We are rolling out customer templates on a handful of customers and do not want to have to create separate versions of P4210 to bypass template processing.  The template structure is such that each customer could have multiple templates, so assigning through customer master is not an option.
