Multiselect Check box in siebel Open UI

Hi,We need to enable Multirow select in siebel Open UI list applets. if we enable the multi row select in JQGrid properties and comment out the following line in JQgrid Renderer.js file(jqGridCtrl.hideCol( 'cb' );_  we are getting the select check boxes in all list applets. But multiselect is not working as expected. can anyone tried this.
