Auto clearing an alert from a Metric Extension

Hi All,

The following scenario:

We have some metric extension which looks at the repository for failed jobs every 2 hours.  When this alert fires an incident rule generates a problem ticket to a third party connector.  I'd like the ability to generate the ticket and auto-clear the event after the generation of the ticket.  Can this be done easily ?
