What is the maximum amount of memory that should be reseved for Oracle 11g on Linux

I have an Oracle 11g database running on  Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 5.6 (Tikanga).
The box has 30 GB of memory.

How big is safe to allocate SGA?  I was thinking 80% is 24GB.

Should I set swappiness to 16GB, as the Installation guide says?

Howdy, Stranger!
