EBS R12.1.3 : XDO issues after upgrade from 11i

Hi,
This question is for XDO team.  Did not find appropriate community.      We are facing 2 issues.

1) Some XDO reports are failing with following error in Concurrent requests.

Calling XDO Data Engine...
java.util.logging.ErrorManager: FLUSH_FAILURE
Error message -
Exception - oracle.core.ojdl.LoggingException: oracle.core.ojdl.LoggingException
: Attempt to flush a closed LogWriter

2)   One particular report, is in running state for around 3 hours.  It should ideally complete in less than 10 mins.   The concurrent request logs shows the following
