DB installation - question

Hi All,
I would like to ask about the Database installation for JDE use.

I have downloaded Oracle Linux 6.4 x86-64 and I am about to install the database for my new JDE installation (testing, learning, practice). I have downloaded 11.2.0.3 DB installers (p10404530_112030_Linux-x86-64) and there is also DB client. I know that in case of deployment server and fat client it is important to have 32-bit client installed. Is it also requirde in this case? I do not know how to check the DB client's version before I install it but I am pretty sure it is 64b the one I have downloaded.
