Error msg when pulling large essbase file in excel smartview

I am trying to pull a large essbase file in excel and am pulling 1000's of row, but I keep getting an error message: "Requested operation failed due to insufficient memory in Provider Services."  I have found a doc on the knowledge base: 1385982.1 which I think will solve my error but can not find the setCustomParamsaps.sh file to change my HEAP settings.  We are using 11.1.2.2 version but the document is about a year old and for a previous version.
I was wondering if any one has come across this error message and if so what did they do to correct the error?  Or if you could point me in the right direction for the setCustomParamsaps.sh file that would be very helpful.
