Changing the preferred credentials for an export job in EM12c

Hi,
In OMS11g I was able to change the credentials used to run an export job after the job was created by editing the job from the Job Activity page and changing settings on the Credentials tab.
When I try this using EM12c a message says 'Credential cannot be displayed for this Job or Corrective Action'.
I'm quite keen to run my export job as another user other than the System User.
Does anyone have any advice?
