Punch out feature usage

Hello All

We are implementing the catalog services for one of our clients using iProcurement / PLM.

What I intend to know is that if we maintain the catalogs and the related images/supplier information locally within the system, do we still need to enable punchouts.

If not, how can this be handled. Also, are there any additional licensing fees to use the catalog services within the Oracle ERP.

Can we use the iProcurement system only to create/maintain catalogs?
