Database Server Migration Solution---Backup/Recover Method VS Windows Image Snapshot Method

Hello,

We are going to move all oracle databases on one DB server to another one. Both DB servers have same Windows OS version, disk partition etc. Our current plan is using Windows image snapshot method to move everything from one server to another one. Is it a better method comparing to using Oracle cold backup/recover method? Our database is Oracle 10.2.0.4 EE 64-bit and we have four Oracle Homes for 4 oracle instances for different applications. the used file size on the old DB server is 1.1T and the total size on the old DB server is 6T.  Our OS is Windows
