Graphing field with many picklist values

I need to create a chart for a field that has about 15+ picklist values.  How would I present data without it becoming cluttered or become an eye chart? 

If  I am able to separate all picklist values by company's business divisions, how would I go about doing that (e.g., functions)?  Thanks.
