R12 - Need Setup Info to Modify Update Behavior, Display Party Number and Display Search Results

Hi - we are in the process of upgrading from 11i to R12 and obviously the IB pages are very different. Our users have started testing and have a couple of requests on the new functionality. I have not been able to find anything in the documentation regarding these request and am hoping someone else may have some information.

 

Issue 1 - after making an update to an Instance the page that displays next is the Simple Search page with the confirmation of the update. Sometimes the page displays with the previous search criteria and sometimes it displays with no search criteria. Examples - updating the Install Date on the General tab takes you back to the Simple Search page and include search criteria. While updating the Current Location on the Location tab takes you back to the Simple Search page but there is no search criteria included.
