Personalization of "honors" field on Enter and Maintain

Hello,

I am trying to hide the "honors" field on the Enter and Maintain form. However, I get a form message that says: FRM-41016: CAnnot set Diplayed attribute of the current item PERSON.HONORS. I also tried switching to enabled and received a similar type message. Does anyone know if there is an underlying reason I wouldn't be able to personalize these off the form? Has anyone else run into this issue?

We are currently on 12.1.3
