11GR2 : standalone ASM

Hi,
We have installed a 11GR2 standalone ASM for a single instance database.   We are trying to connect to ASM from OEM.   However , it is failing with "Invalid username / password"

We are able to connect directly as  sqlplus sys as sysdba and giving the password.    During installation , we gave the password and set all accounts to same password.

Please advise, why we are not able to connect from OEM .
