 Recently we had a production database(500g) crashed due to ora 600[4091] undo segment corrupted , whenever we tried starting the database it crashed and it happened thrice,immediately we raised sev1 oracle support and we followed the instructions to remove the corrutped undo tbs but we were unsuccesfull and as per oracle suggestion we gone ahead to recover the database using backup taken at 11.00 pm and the error (ora 600 occurred at 1.15 a.m)
we have done point in time recovery until 1.15 a.m and successful in starting the database ..we have netapp filers so the recovery was done within a few mins by refreshing the volume,..but after a few hours the application team  reported that they have data loss of 1 hour
