Error in Journal Approval Workflow

Dear all,
When Journals in a specific Legal Entity are sent for approval, the approval workflow is giving an error so the notification is not being sent to the requested supervisor.
Due to this issue Journals in this legal entity are not being approved thus not being posted.
Any idea why this issue is happening? Where can I check  for setups or definitions that are causing this issue in this specific legal entity or SOB?

Workflow Error: 'Cannot find an approver for this employee.'
We are on 11.5.10.2.
