AME (or OAM): How to create Date arithmetic Conditions?

Is it possible to create date based arithmetic condition in Oracle Approval Management Engine? We are E-business Suite, R12.1.x, 11g. If I attempt to add any mathematical operator in the Condition, system rejects it as invalid. 
I need to do processing based on creation_date+7 (or x based on a profile value). 
Any help is appreciated.
