Unable to modify a Default Value for a Inherited Attribute in a Product Definition

Hi, Guys
I have the following situation:

Product Class A → Attribute AT1 = Plan Minutes (Free text).

I have a product that inherits the class above

Product B → Product Class A

When I try to overwrite the default value for AT1 (It should be 1000 minutes) Siebel won't allow me.
It does allow me to change other attribute fields such as Validation, Required but not Default Value.
I looked it up on Bookshelf and it says it should allow such changes on inherited attributes.

I'm currently on 8.1.1.10.
Am I missing something here ?
