Can we have a for loop/ the loop control construct in an etext template

Hi,
Thanks For you update,

two invoice which are paid against one payment.
Means two document payable display in XML code.

now we want to display two document payable(invoice number)
But same invoice print two times
Please guide how can we display two or more invoices in etext format.
