Requisition escallation emails do not finish with the final approver, but escallate to thier manager

Hi All,

As part of the approval list generated for purchase requisitions in iprocurement, none of the approvers in the chain have responded and after the time out with final approver in the list, it is again getting escalated to final approver's supervisor and supervisor's supervisor indefinetely.

It is not coming back to requisitioner.

Can you please suggest if this is an expected functionality OR after the requisition is timed out with final approver should it come back to requisitioner?

Checked for metalink notes but did not find any thing.
