R12.1.3 - Supplier Resource default end date

What causes a supplier resource to default an end date on the resource record?  A concurrent program, "unknown" is running causing an end date to default onto our supplier resource.  Now, employee resources I understand end dating based on profile option, but what causes the supplier?

It is causing issues with supplier resources no longer appearing when really should be active.
