Item Creation Issue

Hi,

We are creating item using Tools > Copy From option and using an Item Code in this option.

Everything is fine except item categories these are not copied from the source item.

For example source item has category aaa.bbb.ccc while copying from this item the category of new item comes as xxx.yyy.zzz.

Can anyone provide explanation of this and how to copy exact category as source item ?
