How to migrate database from one to another host
Hi All,
As per RAC migration to new host, we need to migrate the Database from old server to new server. I have already installed CRS/ASM & DB binaries
However, i need help on migrating the database from source to target host. All DBs are using ASM file system so, need help to migrate them to new host on same ASM file system
As per 1338193.1, it talks about only taking backup to normal file system and move the backup to new host and it does not cover the restore/recovery of DB on ASM file system
Does restore automatically goes to ASM file system since the source database was on file system??
