Bank assignment API

Hello,
Can anyone please let me know if an API exists to update the bank assigned to a a supplier site . I know the API  iby_disbursement_setup_pub.set_payee_instr_assignment is used to create an assignment.
But this doesnt seems to be working to update the existing assignment.

Any advise is greatly appreciated
