Change of Database Service Name

Hi All

We have a requirement for changing the service name of the RDBMS we are using and reconfigure hyperion

Example:

OLD_HYP is the service name in which the Hyperion was configured 

NEW_HYP is the service name to which we need to re configure.

And both OLD_HYP and NEW_HYP belongs points to same database and are alias of each other.

Please confirm if this is possible and will have no effect on the Hyperion System
