How can we set budget for a cost center without entering amounts for each account combination under
Hi,
We need to specify a budgetary limit for expenses of each cost center. What we intend is the system shall allow all expenses under any account up to the mentioned limit. What I understand is we enter budget amounts through budget journals which mean there has to be a specific amount for each account combination for each accounting period separately. Assume we have a cost center of 'IT Department' having total budget of 100 millions. Then how can we set this amount to control all the expenses of said cost center within the budgetary limits.
Please let me know if it is possible ti achieve the intended result. And the necessary setup steps if it is possible at all.
