ARM Data Load Options

Hi All,
I'm trying to understand what the different options within ARM Data Load mean.  Full Refresh is covered within the Admin guide so I think I have an understanding of this.  There are two other options Recalculate and Snapshot that are not explained within the Admin guide.  What do these options perform?  I am trying to understand the best approach for re-loading data into a period.

As of right now I have been running full refresh each time because I'm in a non-prod environment and I continue to add new profiles to ARM.  Because those profiles didn't exist, I have assumed I need to run a full refresh to load data into them.
