Daily Revenue Recognition

Hi

We have  a requirement from the customer to set up daily revenue recognition

The problem we have is - the GL is already set up with Accounting calendar having a period type of 'Month' in the accounting set up manager

The GL is already in production.

As per Oracle manual  to set up daily revenue recognition we have to have the period type set to Daily in the Accounting Set up manager. This record is not updateable.

what options do we have in setting up daily revenue recoginition in AR without updating the ledger?

Would appreciate any help in this matter.
