Slow Query on All Mode Sort BC User Prop

Hi,

Experiencing slowness in querying on a field, The Field is a custom field on the base Table. The BC that I'm using is a thin one. It is a BC where alot of the Userprop are inactivated and Scriptless. The only Userprop that is present is the All Mode Sort and it has a vaue of FALSE but when I inactivated the userprop it can complete the search in around 5 minutes but shorter than when it was activated and has the value of FALSE.

Can anyone tell me why this is happening?

The reason why I'm having second thoughts on disabling the user prop is because when I query on another field(joined to another bc Accounts) then the slowness shifts to that field.
