Hello,

in a RAC Environment with scan listener on all nodes active, I have to change a listener.ora Parameter for one database.

Is it sufficient to only change local listener configuration and than reload the listener or do I have to change and reload the scan listener also ?

I would like to know: Is the scan listener only for "dispatching" the connections and does the client connect (JDBC, OCI Connection) directly with the local listener or is the scan listener in between the connection somehome. (I have to change a Client Inbound timeout parameter).
