WebLogic vs WebSphere JDE Portal Question(s)

Hello,

My users would like to have self service set up for them to view pay stubs.

After looking into the set up I have a few questions:

(app 9.0 tools version: 8.98.3.3 with aix 6.1)

I recently got the thin client working. We have a weblogic html server and I was looking at what is needed to be done next.

I found the following steps (starting at step 3) in the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Human Capital Management Self-Service 9.0 Implementation Guide:

3. Install and configure the IBMWebSphere Portal.
 All the reference guides are WebSphere

Can the Collaborative Portal not be installed on WebLogic?  I even looked at self-service implementation guide for 9.1 and it also only has WebSphere Portal listed.
