Error when updating Resoure Duration in PRM

we are getting below error when try to update an existing resource's duration.

Row 1 Error - The resource is not assigned to an operating unit for the specified dates

Verified that resource is active, assignment is active, org is active. Also checked job mapping is correct.

this error is in 11.5.10.2

Please let me know what else need to be checked.
