Hi Matt : This thread will address your following issue - 


applying patch 4377566
Patch fails with
AutoPatch error:
Error while executing statement
(Begin  DBMS_STATS.Gather_Table_Stats ( Ownname => 'APPLSYS', Tabname => 'AD_PATCH_HIST_TEMP' ); End;)

several other errors following...this is the fiirst.
