'Price Tolerance Percentage' in Purchasing Options

Hello All,

I have set the 'Price Tolerance Percentage' equal to 10 and the flag 'Enforce Price Tolerance (%)' is unchecked. I created a requisition with a single line, with Qty - 1 and Price - 100 USD. I approved the requisition and auto created a PO using this Requisition. Before approving the PO i changed the price to 150 USD and approved it. The system did not give any warning/message since the change in the price from Requisition to PO was exceeding the tolerance. Is this the standard behaviour? If yes, then what is the significance of this feature if system
