Did you know about automountd settings via sharectl?
Traditionally passing arguments to automounter was somewhat tricky.In Solaris 11 that's much easier; check automountd(1M) for all the details, but perhaps suffices to paste:
Values for parameters for automountd are stored in SMF and
manipulated using sharectl(1M). The following are the sup-
ported parameters.
automountd_verbose=TRUE | FALSE
Verbose mode. Causes status messages to be logged to:
/var/svc/log/system-filesystem-autofs:default.log
See smf(5). The default value is FALSE. Equivalent to
the -v option.
