Update Open Period link not visible in AM BU Definition Page

Hello,

I am configuring Asset Management.  We are using Financials 9.0.  When I navigate to Set Up Financials/Supply Chain>Business Unit Related>Assets>Asset Management Definition>AM Business Unit Definition tab, the Update Open Period blue hyperlink is missing from the right side of the page.  Is there other set up that will get that to appear?

I attached a screen shot of what I see and a screen shot of what I expected.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
