T4-2 LSI RAID controllers

I am trying to create a RAID1E volume on the LSI controller of a Netra T4-2.
At the OK prompt I select the appropriate device and issue the show-children command.
All 8 disk devices are listed.
When I issue the create-raid1e-volume I get the command repeated back with a question mark (command not recognized).

OK  2 3 4 5 6  create-raid1e-volume
create-raid1e-volume ?

Same for all other FCode commands.  Only the show-children command works.
All this per Netra T4-2 Intall/Admin guide.
