US PAY: Trust as a Payee in Payroll and 1099-R?

We use Oracle Payroll for our Retiree payroll as well. One of our retirees passed and his beneficiary is a trust, scheduled to pay over the next 2 years.  Has anyone set up a Trust as a payee?  Anything unusual?  Does the trust still get a 1099-R at year end?

Any info is appreciated.
