Incorrect patch recommendation after installing WLS patchset

Hello,
I am running EM 12c R3 (12.1.0.3.0)
It seems I have been hit by bug 17711539: After installing the latest WLS patchset using Smart Update, there is a lingering incorrect recommendation to install patch 16420963. Is there a resolution for this one or should I just ignore it ?
Also, in my EMGC_OMS1.out file I get a java NullPointerException after

Error parsing:META-INF/adf-settings.xml

Is this a known issue or can I just ignore this one as well ?
