Link between GL_JE_HEADERS/GL_JE_LINES to GL_BALANCES

 Hi All,
I want to know the relationship between GL_JE_HEADERS/GL_JE_LINES to GL_BALANCES.

I also want to know what the concurrent program does when we post the journal from GL_JE_HEADERS/GL_JE_LINES to GL_BALANCES. what happens in that process?
