Rerun (not Reprint) statements for a specific statement date in a statement cycle

Statements for a specific statement date and statement cyclehave been run.  the statement cycle is monthly and , for example, the statement date for Nov-2013 is November 18, 2013.  The statements have been run for the November cycle , the skip flag is now yes and the statement run date has been set to 18-Nov-2013..

The client realized that certain transactions that needed to be on the statement were not yet completed.  The transactions have been completed and now they  want to run the statement process for November again..  Someone in the past has advised them to use HELP--> DIAGNOSTICS-->EXAMINE while in the Statement Cycle form and change the value for the skip flag from Y to N .  They said this approach worked in release 10.5 but I do not believe this is a supported approach in R12 (if ever was supported before).
