wanted to see what options I had with 11gR2 (we are at 11.2.0.3) to do something like a far sync until we get to 12c
Do realize that this would not be light weight as far sync
My primary is RAC: requirement is
Primary to Replicate within metro Synchronously to Secondary
The secondary can replicate to out of metro Asynchronous to target (QUE 1 Can the final target be Active Data Guard?)
QUE 2 LIMITATIONS
Found 2 links with different set of limitations for 11gR2 , wanted to check with you – If Set 2 are true then have to abandon this idea and wait for 12c implementation
