On Demand Marketing - Cascading Picklist on Webform - Prepopulation of Parent Picklist based on the

Hello,
I managed to implement Cascading pick list feature on the ODM webform using Alias question rule options.
Question: Is there a way to populate the Parent pick list value based on the Child pick list value.

For Ex.
Consider the following Question and their corresponding options.
Parent Question options; Shape, Color.
Child Question:
Question Set 1: Red, Orange, Green - mapped to Color
Question Set 2: Square, Circle, Triangle - mapped to Shape

Requirement: Once the Child value is set to 'Red', then the Parent value should be set to 'Color'.
Normally the parent is expected to drive the child; On top of it we also expect the child to drive the parent.
