Bad public user name or password. Database Server Error: ORA-12170

I am using Primavera P6 7.0 using a standalone Oracle Database 10g Express Edition when I try to log in to P6 it tells me:   "Unable to connect to the database.  Would you like to configure the database connection now?"  It asks for a usename and password.  Is there a default password and username I can use?  I have tried the password I set when P6 was installed along with usernames "pubuser" " pubprm$pm" "privuser", nothing seems to work.  Any suggestions?
