US/CA PAY: Impact of Applying Year End Phase 2 (Year Begin) AFTER 1st Payroll is Processed

 Our company's 1st payroll processing for 2014 is 2 weeks after the scheduled 2013 Year End Phase 2 release date of December 15 which is not an optimal time for testing given the holidays as well.

What is the impact of applying the 2013 Year End Phase 2 patch after the 1st payroll of 2014 is processed?
