Impact due to Absence of Exchange Rate in Rate Tbl

Hi 

If exchange rate currency is not found in the Rate Table for a particular period in the system ,what could be the impact on the asset management part on accounting basis?  let me know your inputs based on the asset informations that exists in the system and for the future transactions.
